| Leadership, scholastic excellence, community service and love are the core values of African-American Greek organizations. Three of the five historically Black sororities that are recognized by the National Pan-Hellenic Council were founded at Howard University: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority (1908); Delta Sigma Theta Sorority (1913); Zeta Phi Beta Sorority (1920). |
