Frederick Douglass
Memorial Hall
|
| A national historic landmark, the Frederick Douglass Memorial Hall is named in honor of Frederick Douglass, the revered abolitionist and
past trustee and active participant of the University.
The building was
the product of the acclaimed African-American architect
of the 20th century, Albert Cassell. Students
fill the building each day, as it is heavily used
for class instruction and houses
a number of academic departments. |
