The  collection of audio/visual materials housed in the S.W. Library is small but growing and consists of a few C-Ds, videos and tapes. Microforms
The microform collection which is housed in the Undergraduate Library consists of back issues of periodicals. Some duplicate the bound and electronic titles, and in some cases are incomplete runs. Search the STERLING catalog for titles.

Periodicals
The collection of periodicals comprising journals, magazines, newsletters, annuals etc. which relate directly to social work and its components, has a recent count of just under 350 titles. Of these 170 are currently subscribed. They are available in print (current and bound), microform and electronic formats. Search the STERLING catalog for the title you need to see availability and holdings, or go directly to the shelves of the Social Work Library where they are filed alphabetically by title.

Reference Books
The library maintains a representative collection of books in reference. It includes items which by nature and format (encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, indexes and abstracts, almanacs, directories, etc.) are  reference, as well as those items which tend to become scarce because of the demand made on them.

Vertical File
A collection of brochures, single sheets, news clippings etc of materials useful to the library's customers. Of special interest is a collection of documents and reports on welfare reform at federal and state levels.
