Teaches courses in broadcast journalism and mass ommunication. His research is grounded in media effects of the 2009 digital conversion of government-licensed broadcasters. His most recent works examine broadcasters servicing communities in the public interest, the role of government in the dissemination of information, and the practice of diversity in licensing radio and television stations.
