Campaign for
Howard Highlights
 Under the leadership of President H. Patrick Swygert and the Board of Trustees, The Campaign for Howard was launched during the 2002 Charter Day celebration. The Campaign goal was set at $250 million over a five-year period, ending on December 31, 2007.

Virgil E. Ecton,
CFRE
Vice President for University Advancement
Virgil E. Ecton assumed the position of VP for University Advancement
on September 4, 2001. His experience includes 31 years with the United
Negro College Fund (UNCF). Says University President Swygert, "There
are very few advancement professionals of Virgil Ecton's caliber."
