Howard
Alumni:
I
am pleased to share with you the
highlights of The Campaign for
Howard, which has become the most
successful campaign of any African-American
institution in history. The Campaign
raised $275 million exceeding
the campaign goal of $250 million
by 10 percent.
As
you may recall, the impetus of
the Campaign centered around three
main thrusts: to strengthen the
University's academic programs,
support more endowed scholarships,
professorships and chairs; and
build and refurbish academic facilities.
The
following link provides a summary
of the impact of the Campaign
for Howard gifts and pledges.

We
applaud the tremendous success
of the Campaign and I offer my
sincerest gratitude to all who
contributed their services and
resources. Let me acknowledge
the great leadership displayed
throughout the Campaign by Trustee
Richard Parsons, Chairman of the
Development Committee, and other
members of the committee. The
entire University Community extends
its thanks to you.
Go
Bison!

Sincerely,
H. Patrick Swygert
