1960 – 2010

The tentative weekend celebration activities are as follows:

Thursday – May 6th

• ’60 Meet and Greet Reception, Washington Plaza Hotel, 10 Thomas Circle, NW, Washington, DC  20005, Hospitality Room 6 – 9pm

Friday – May 7th

• White House Tour, 7:30 – 10:30am
• Washington Specialty Tour, 11:00am – 12 noon
• Lunch on your own, Union Station (restaurants, food court, shopping available) 12:30 – 2:30pm

Saturday – May 8th

• ’60 Commencement Exercises (main Campus) – Bus departs hotel at 7:30am and will make stop at the Howard University Center Bookstore/Starbucks located at 2225 Georgia Avenue, NW (parking is available on the parking lot adjacent to the bookstore) and proceed to Cramton Auditorium.  After the Presidents Luncheon following Commencement bus will depart campus and return to the hotel.
• Continental Breakfast, University Blackburn Center, Gallery Lounge – 8:30am
• Don Robes for the  Commencement Exercises (academic regalia distributed)
• President’s Luncheon immediately following Commencement (including you and one guest)
• Golden Reunion Gala, Washington Court Hotel, 10 Thomas Circle, NW  7pm – 12 midnight
