Itinerary

Arrives Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Thea Bowman Center between 1:00-3:00am. Volunteers have been separated into three groups; each group serves a different task throughout the Alternative Spring Break period. The groups include an advocacy group, an educational group and a creative group.

9:00 a.m-10:30 a.m

All Volunteers- Gun Violence Informational/ Q&A Session with Father Pfleger at St. Sabina Church

11:30am-3:00pm

All Volunteers- Meet with Kidz off the Block Organization at Fenger High School

4:00pm- 5:00pm

All Volunteers- Training session for each group at St. Sabina Church

9:00 a.m -12:00 p.m.

Advocacy- Petitioning around the city
Creative- Meeting at the St. Sabina Church to discuss Mural to be put in the Arc
Education- Speaking with students at Ralph Ellison High School (9:00-10:30am) St. Sabina Academy (11:00-12:00pm)
