Syllabus: INBU-13653-300: Principles of International Business

Assignment: Choose a country from Europe, Asia or South America. You are the new Business Development Specialists at Khaki's R Us. Your company wants you to explore the possibility of doing business in the country you have selected. Prepare a report of not more than 15 double spaced pages with information on your company addressing the following issues: geography and history of your company; political economy of your country; cultural issues the company needs to consider (language, religion, business hours, gestures, negotiating, punctuality, education, gender, etc.) . Also develop an ethical code that will guide your company's decisions on environmental protection drawing on J. Rawl's concept of the veil of ignorance. Research company's political economy of international trade. Conclude paper by making a recommendation to your CEO. Student
