This year's convocation speaker is Ambassador Susan E. Rice, U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations and a member of President Barack Obama's cabinet. She has served as a senior advisor for national security affairs on the Obama for America Campaign and as a leader of Obama's first-term transition team.

Classes will be suspended between 10 am and 1 pm in conjunction with this historic occasion. All are encouraged to attend.
