Student Hackathon --Turning Ideas into Web or Mobile Apps

Black Founders Startup Ventures, in collaboration with the Department of Systems and Computer Sciences, is hosting a Hackathon for college students. All majors are invited. The kickoff will be held on Friday, February 15 at 3:00pm in the engineering building, 2019 LK Downing engineering building.
According to Black Founders, Hackathon, an exciting fast paced hack competition, is designed to give students a 24-hour experience on what it is like to build a web or mobile app and then present their app to attending participants. Startups from Silicon Valley, NYC, DC and ATL will be on-hand to serve as mentors and judges. Prizes and food will be served throughout the event. Students should bring their laptops and their ideas!!!
