- An Illustrated Presentation "Josephine Baker, an African-American Icon in Paris" by Ms. Shawn Hart (HU Dept. of Art).
- A roundtable "Blacks in France Today" with Dr. Françoise Pfaff (moderator), Dr. Lorenzo Morris (HU Dept. of Political Science), Drs. Clement Akassi, Marilyn Séphocle and Jean-Jacques Taty (HU Department of World Languages and Cultures) and Ms. Marie-Hélène Pfaff (Lycée Rochambeau, Bethesda, MD).
On Wednesday February 27, 2013, from 3:00 to 5:30 pm in # 340 Locke Hall:
- Les Intouchables (2011), the award-winning French film directed by Olivier Nakache, with famous Franco-Senegalese actor Omar Sy, introduced by Dr. Jean-Jacques Taty. Q and A session on the film and Blacks in France.
