The School of Social Work presents thier annual LGBTQ forum
(Lecture/Discussion)
This Interactive forum will highlight policy and practice implications of the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, The Obama Administration's Support for Marriage Equality, and the LGBT inclusive Violence Against Women Act. The panel discussion will be followed by a brief Q and A section. Panelists include Mr. Earl Fowlkes, the President and CEO of The Center for Black Equity, Mr. Sterling Austin Washington, from The Mayor's Office of LGBT Affairs, as well as, Representatives from Transgender Advocacy Representatives from LGBT Youth Advocacy. ALL ARE WELCOME!
