Marian Wright Edelman, founder and president of the Children's Defense Fund, will lead a discussion into problems of the American prison system at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17 in the School of Business auditorium.
The discussion is the third Gwendolyn S. Colbert I. King Endowed Chair in Public Policy lecture for the 2012-13 academic year. Former President and Director-Counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund Elaine R. Jones will facilitate the discussion.
