Annual Reports (Jeanne Clery Report.)

" Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990" renamed "The Jeanne Clery Act"; "The Jeanne Clery Act" is named in memory of 19-year-old Lehigh University freshman Jeanne Ann Clery who was raped and murdered while asleep in her residence hall room on April 5, 1986. Her Parents persuaded Congress to enact into law notification that would have shown 38 serious crimes on that campus three years before their daughters’ death. The intent is to allow a disclosure policy that would make timely warnings to the campus community about crimes that pose an ongoing threat to students and employees.
