Quad |
| The
expansive main quad, also called "The Yard," is
the University’s symbolic heart and center
of campus life. The design is by landscape architect
David A. Willinston. It is the place of choice for many
outdoor activities--the Commencement Exercises,
Homecoming's Family Reunion/Yardfest, concerts, job fairs,
student performances, ROTC drills, and special events
at the flagpole. Students can be found studying or socializing
in the shadows of its trees. |
