Moorland Spingarn Research Center |
| The
Moorland-Spingarn Reading Room hosts scholars from throughout
the world. Dr. Jesse E. Moorland, a Howard alumnus and
trustee, donated his personal library and collection
in 1914 to create the Moorland Foundation, A Library
of Negro Life. It was expected that the collection would
provide the foundation for the study of Black life throughout
the world. |
