HUB Book Signing: April 18, 5-6 p.m., Norman and Olivia West, Debt Free at 33.

Pharmaceutical Industrial Summit: April 19, 6 p.m., School of Business Auditorium, free. The College of Pharmacy will sponsor a summit in cooperation with the Drug Information Association and the Graduate Students Association to feature networking and professional internship opportunities.

Free Health Fair: April 20, 11 a.m., Chauncey I. Cooper Hall. Sponsored by the College of Pharmacy and the Student National Pharmaceutical Association, the fair will include blood glucose checks, immunization information, blood pressure screenings, HIV testing, a free Zumba fitness session and more. Howard U Hospital Residents/Faculty Scientific Research Forum: May 8, 8 a.m., College of Medicine, Numa P.G. Adams Building, Room 3019. Residents of HUH and members of the faculty will give 15-minute oral presentations on their research. Q&As will follow each presentation.

“Barack Obama: The First Term” Exhibit: The exhibit has been extended to run through May 31 in the Moorland-Spingarn Gallery in Founders Library; open daily, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday. Curated by Howard Dodson, director of the Moorland-Spingarn Research Center, and presented in conjunction with the Howard University Libraries, the White House Photo Office and the Howard University Obama Inaugural Commemorative Committee. Admission to the exhibit is free.
