The exhibit runs through Feb. 28 in the Moorland-Spingarn Gallery in Founders Library; open daily, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday. Curated by Howard Dodson, director of the Moorland-Spingarn Research Center, and presented in conjunction with the Howard University Libraries, the White House Photo Office and the Howard University Obama Inaugural Commemorative Committee. On Jan. 11, the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., made a pilgrimage to Howard University as part of the centennial Founders Weekend Celebration in Washington D.C.
The sorority will be permanently enshrined in the historic Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel with the installation of a stained glass window.
