The Howard University School of Law was recently ranked as one of the top 20 schools in the nation for producing public service graduates by The National Jurist magazine. The schools were identified based on data collected from American Bar Association law schools across the nation. Howard University will officially close during Spring Break 2012, with a
continuation of essential services supporting the safety and health of the
University community. This limited campus closure will begin at 12:01 a.m.,
March 11, and end at 11:59 p.m., March 17.
Most faculty and students are away from the University during Spring Break
and there is minimal demand for academic and support service activities.
This provides an opportunity to reduce the use of facilities and utilities with the least impact to the University community. This reduction also is
anticipated to improve Howard University's FY12 financial performance.
The Office of Human Resources will have overall responsibility for the
planning, coordination and implementation of the limited campus closure
