Promote CEDAR Events
On January 29, 2014 CEDAR hosted 85 employers in the Blackburn Center Ballroom for the 12th annual Winter/Spring Career Exploration Fair. Close to 1000 students showed up to engage employers in conversation about internship and full-time employment opportunities, explore options available to them and ready themselves to compete through our on-site interviewing program for the various positions they qualify for.
Cognizant that we would not be able to prepare our students for the transition from the classroom to the global work space without your outstanding work, we solicit your support and assistance in promoting the annual career fairs and other major career events to your students. We also invite you to attend these annual events and take some time to make connections with participating recruiters who might be willing to give real-world presentations to your classes that tie together the concepts, theories, and practices of your discipline, while reinforcing the relevance of the class experience to their career success for years to come.
Again, we thank you for the outstanding work you do to lay the sound academic foundation upon which successful careers and lives are built. Please feel free to contact us at Cedarrecruiting@howard.edu for additional information and partnership opportunities.
