Dr. Glass is currently engaged in a wide-array of Environmental Engineering research projects, from general water quality projects to focused research projects on microbiological treatment processes in wastewater treatment and contaminated soil.  Some of the recently funded projects of Dr. Glass are titled; “Denitrification Coupled Biotreatment of PAHs for treating Wet Soils” for the Cold Regions Research Experiment Laboratory, “Monitor the Effectiveness of Multiple Best Management Practices on a High-Use Impervious Area/Parking Lot in the Anacostia/Oxon Run Watersheds” for the D.C. Department of Health, and “Nitrogen Cycling in Advanced Life Support”as a part of the NSCORT Grant with Purdue University and Alabama A&M.  Dr. Glass is actively seeking funding to continue these research projects and to gain expertise in other areas as well.
