Access to B-Line
The Clinical Skills Center is powered by the B-Line web based clinical skills solution that is designed for the large scale testing, assessment and video capture of standardize patient encounters. To access the B-Line system from inside the Howard University network please click or paste into your browser the following link http://clc.howardu.net.
Faculty can view and access their student videos from their office computer or via a VPN connection from an off-site location.
Students can view and access their videos in their LRC Center or via a VPN connection from an off-site location.
The minimum hardware requirements for viewing the videos requires that each workstation have a Pentium IV or higher processor, 2GB of RAM, 5GB of hard drive space, Quick Time, flash player, sound card, speakers or a head phones and a monitor with resolution set to at least 1280x1024 pixels.
Follow the instructions below to set up your computer to be compatible with the B-Line system.

Access to the B-Line systems to view student videos will be available in the LRC Center during operating hours. For hours of operation to the LRC center please visit the Informatics website.
If students desire to access their video from an off-site location a VPN connection to the Howard University network is required. Please contact the helpdesk at 202-806-2020 to obtain VPN access.
