The Gumbel Collection of prints by European etchers, engravers, mezzotinters, and wood-engravers of the 15th to the 19th centuries, contains excellent impressions by such fine etchers as, Callot, Lorraine, Hollar, and such engravers as Heinrich Goltzius,

Lucas Van Leyden, and many other memorable masters. Received in 1963, this gift extended the Gallery's print collection in chronological depth with other works of French Post-Impressionists, German Expressionists, and American Realists of the 1930's and 1940's.
