The mission of the Office of Student Activities at Howard University is to provide leadership development and sustained implementation of a student centered community which supports the achievement of students' academic, career, and personal goals while simultaneously promoting civility, respect, and equity among members of the college community. Student Organizations, Student Government, and various University-wide committees and organizations function under the Office of Student Activities. The Office of Student Activities (OSA) provides student leaders with the support, resources and training to successfully plan, develop and implement programs, activities and events on campus. Students interested in starting, joining and/or leading an on-campus organization are encouraged to stop by the OSA in Armour J. Blackburn University Center, Suite 117. The OSA is open 8:30am - 6:30pm Monday - Thursday and 8:30am - 5:00pm on Friday, evenings by appointment to assist students, advisors, faculty and staff during the academic year. During breaks, OSA hours are: 9:00am - 5pm Monday - Thursday and 9:00am - 4pm on Friday.

CONGRATULATIONS BISON! 2009 BISON YEARBOOK American Scholastic Press Association's Annual Yearbook Competition FIRST PLACE AWARD Deja Vu , the 2009 Bison Yearbook was a FIRST PLACE award winner in the American Scholastic Press Association’s annual yearbook competition. The Bison Yearbook received the first place award from the American Scholastic Press Association for excellence in the fields of writing, photography, and page design.
