What is A Few Good Men (AFGM)?

AFGM is a group of men from different arenas of Howard University life. United to facilitate the development of positive Black Male role models in the Howard University as well as local community.

What is the AFGM Purpose?

The purpose of AFGM is to promote positive relationships between Black Men from all facets of life at Howard University, while preserving  and supporting each person’s individual expression of Black Manhood, so long as he is striving to be positive.

What will AFGM do?

AFGM will actively participate in topics of discussion that affect us as Black Men and in turn affect our community. These topics of discussion will be based on shared infor.

Planning andmation from reading materials, videotapes, audiotapes or personal experiences from the men of AFGM promoting extra-curricular activities will also be a focus of AFGM . An overwhelming significance will be placed on community engagement, specifically dealing with young Black Males and Females.

AFGM will take part in engaging Black Male university administration, faculty and teaching staff, challenging them to be influences in our development into responsible men.
