Ms. Lisa Reeves serves as the Associate Director of Student Activities.  Prior to coming to Howard, Ms. Reeves served as the Director of Student Leadership and Development at Central State University in Wilberforce, OH. As the Director she was responsible for providing supervision and leadership to students and student organizations.  She advised Student Government, the Student Trustees, Miss Central State University, the Pan-Hellenic Council and the incoming Freshmen Class. Ms. Reeves developed Community Service and Service Learning Programs that allowed students and administrative staff to fulfill the mission of the university and to meet the community and the country’s critical needs in education, politics, public safety, health and the environment. Ms. Reeves served on the following committees: New Student-Parent Orientation, Convocation, Homecoming, Spring Fest and Commencement.

Ms. Reeves also served as the Graduate Admissions Recruiter, Assistant Director for the Office of Minority Male Health and Coordinator for Student Activities at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. While at Lincoln, Ms. Reeves recruited students for the MSW program, developed and implemented health programs related to wellness, nutrition, and fitness, forums and panels related to the Male Health Center’s goals and objectives set for the campus and the community. She was also responsible for implementing and evaluating co-curricular, social, educational and recreational programs that enhanced the quality of campus life.

Before becoming committed to Higher Education, Ms. Reeves served as a Disease Intervention Specialist for the Philadelphia Health Department in Philadelphia, PA.  There she counseled diverse patients, participated in health screenings, gave presentations to physicians, churches, community centers and area schools regarding the importance of healthy lifestyles and served as a part of the Anthrax Rapid Assessment for the United States Bio-Terrorism Team.

Ms. Reeves has an MBA in Business Administration and a BS in Marketing from Delaware State University in Dover, DE.
