Visit the Campus

The campus tour is designed to provide prospective students with exposure to Howard University. Visitors have the opportunity to interact with our students and faculty, and learn about our programs and activities. The tour generally begins with an information session presented by a Recruitment Officer. The presentation includes information about admission, financial aid, housing and extra-curricular activities. Following the presentation, there will be a walking tour of the University's main campus conducted by a Student Ambassador. The tour and presentation lasts approximately two hours. Elementary and Middle School students are welcomed; however, they will participate in our exciting interactive scavenger hunt during the summer months (June and July).

Group tours are conducted Monday - Friday at 10:00am, 12:00pm, or 2:00pm. Campus tours are suspended on weekends, federal holidays, during final exam periods, spring break, and for the months of December and August. Reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance of your requested tour date.
