There’s a fine line between
Arrogance and Confidence – you decide.
Because I hold my head high,
Because I walk tall,
Because you cut me with your words,
And I don’t fall,
Arrogance or Confidence––you decide.
When I walk into a room and all conversation ceases,
When I turn the corner and your eyes cut me to pieces,
When instead of imitating, you want to mar my slate,
Because I can still smile at you,
But you can’t stand to see my face,
Arrogance or Confidence – you decide.
It’s not my fault,
That’s just the way it is,
Because, I can handle myself,
And I can handle my business,
Arrogance or Confidence – you decide.
Because I know that I know my stuff,
And I know that I know it well,
You just sit around, waiting for me to fail,
Guess what? It won’t happen!
Arrogance or Confidence – you decide.
It’s ok for you to despise me,
Even though there’s no reason why,
Just remember,
There’s a thin line between
Arrogance and Confidence –
YOU decide.
