Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service is available only to Howard University students, faculty, staff and authorized persons. Regular ILL borrowing is free, except when fees are imposed by the lending institution.

ILL requests are processed daily, Monday-Friday, except holidays. Requests for materials found at local libraries usually require 1-2 weeks to fulfill. Materials from more distant sources may require longer. If you have questions, please contact the appropriate Interlibrary Loan Office.
