Far Eastern and Decorative Arts Collection
Vases,
bowls, cups, pitchers, and plates describe the scope of unique items
that form the decorative arts collection. Fine porcelains and ivory
carvings, as well as ceramic pottery and glassware created by many
different ethnic groups, offer a diverse selections for viewing. In
addition to this grouping, works from the Far East which include a
handsome collection of 13th century figurines made of celadon glaze
on gray clay from Siam, offer a wonderful opportunity to study from
this period of art history.
