This Kind of Love
Kamari Simpson
Egan, Minnesota - Marketing

I know how it is to want more

Satisfaction becomes dull as the overwhelming quest for a perfect love frequents the thoughts daily

The search for a love that does not break

The kind that doesn’t wither with time, but instead
                                                                 solidifies and clarifies with age

The type that doesn’t diminish in value or deteriorate with hardship

That pure, unconditional love that bends with the wind yet always remains strong and tall in the end

That deep shit that just won’t go away

That love that wraps me up and exudes a secure grasp over all aspects of my being

The love laced with passion and defined by desire

The love that seems to hide behind a thick barricade seeping through when you least expect it

That kind of love.
