Exploration of the Unknown
Rhasheema Sweeting
Freemont, California - Print Journalism

Mercurial and whimsical circumstances manifested in ways unexpected,
Like a pleasurable surprise that makes a lonely heart smile.
Provides a much needed release from a monotonous lifestyle,
And adds a modicum of lusciously delightful change:
Unparalled by an intense glimmer of fiery sunlight after a ferocious thunderstorm.

The explanation of these events is unforeseen, astounding, and capricious.

Questioning the anomalous power of what is meant to be,
Is to crowd an already confused and tormented mind
With feelings of ambiguity and confusion.

Obstructions of everyday life fail to detract from the overpowering and opportunistic semblance of perfection.

Acute sensitivity adds to the beauty of the dreamlike almost inconceivable quality of the sensations.

The mere brainstorm like a venture into a dark, midnight forest, blindfolded, aware of the omnipresent dangers and oblivious as to which path to take.

Utterly and excruciatingly speechless, nonetheless filled with auspicious emotion and exuberant happiness.

Every delectable moment is strikingly similar yet incites an incredible newness and unfamiliarity.

Melancholic ruminations cloud the confused and dazed mind,
Only to be revitalized and conquered by the transcending feelings stimulated when destiny converges again.

Each encounter like a rush of adrenaline,
Through a resilient and robust sprinter's body,
Eagerly anticipating the signal and prepared to secure the imminent prize.

Each moment like a fairytale: to be continued and waiting to be revealed.

The unequivocal goal: to relish and to savor each and every wonderful rendezvous.
