Being Alone

I’m alone
Not one of my friends is around
I have nothing to do,
But THINK.
Think about life and what I want out of it,
Think about my future
What I will be doing next year, month,
Heck week.
Because I’m alone physically I have time to talk to me
I even have answers to my questions
The answers are all there
Deep, down inside somewhere.
And the great thing is, I’m answering HONESTLY.
I don’t have to weigh my answers
Or answer swaying to any particular side.
Because the person I’m answering knows exactly how I feel about any and
everything.
It’s great to be alone.
You can sort your feelings out.
Being alone is fabulous for the soul…
At least it is SOMETIMES.
