in Texas.
Her
family
is from Arkansas and
South Carolina.
She
attended Kennedy Elm., Brent Elm., and now attends Jefferson Junior High
School.
She
lives
in Washington, D.C.
She
wants to become a veterinarian
when she grows up.
Some
of her major contributions
are being on the honor
roll all of her life, never being on drugs, not promoting violence, and
always trying to have a positive attitude.
One
of her favorite places
is Union Station. It is one of her favorite places, because she likes the
architectural design.
Union
Station is a building
in Washington D.C. that has a great architectural design.The building first
opened in the fall of 1908, but received its first train at 6:50 a.m. on
a Sunday morning (October 27, 1907).This fall (1998) the station will celebrate
its 90th birthday.This station has provided service to the following
railroads: Baltimore & Ohio, Chesapeake & Ohio, Southern Richmond,
Fredricksburg & Potomac, and Pennsylvania. Today, the station serves
MARC, Amtrak, and,VRE. VRE is the Virginia Railway Express. MARC is the
Maryland commuter rail operation. The station has not only ticket offices,
but a multi-screen cinema, and nice restaurants.
