This website, an overview of Michel Ribon and his work, is a tribute to him by Mohamed Mekkawi, an alumnus of the Lycée français de Beyrouth, Lebanon (1959), and a former student of Ribon who taught philosophy at the Lycée for many years. Mekkawi is currently Director of Libraries at Howard University in Washington, DC.
