Academic Year Program
One of the MSEIP objectives is to engage high school students in relevant scientific research with in the Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) fields. It is expected that participants in the summer program will continue to work on their research projects through the academic year with mentorship. The goal of this academic program is to create a sustained teaching and learning community that will mentor and support students to matriculate successfully and be fully prepared to pursue careers in the STEM fields. Each student will be assigned a mentor in which research task and ideas will be exchanged through the CI (Cyber Infrastructure) system.
