From Annapolis (points east):
Take Route 50 to New York Avenue. Turn right on Florida Avenue. Travel approximately 9 blocks. Turn right on Georgia Avenue. At the third traffic light, turn right on Howard Place. Cross 6th Street and enter the gate. (Parking in this area is by permit only, but there is metered parking on 6th Street.) Founders Library is the second building inside the campus gate, on the right, next to the chapel.
From Fairfax (points west):
Take I-66, east to Washington. Exit at E Street, heading east into Washington, DC. Turn left onto 18th Street. Turn right onto K Street. Turn left onto 11th Street. Turn right onto Rhode Island Avenue. Turn left onto 7th Street which becomes Georgia Avenue. Continue on Georgia Avenue for approximately 0.3 miles. Turn left on Howard Place. Cross 6th Street. and enter the campus gate. (Parking in this area is by permit only, but there is meter parking on 6th Street). Founders Library is the second building inside the gate, on the right, next to the chapel.
From Baltimore (points north):
Take I-95, south to I-495, toward Silver Spring. Exit at Georgia Avenue, heading south, into Washington, DC. Continue on Georgia Avenue for approximately 6-8 miles. Turn left on Howard Place. Cross 6th Street and enter the campus gate. (Parking in this area is by permit only, but there is meter parking on 6th Street). Founders Library is the second building inside the gate, on the right, next to the chapel.
From Richmond (points south):
Take I-95, north to U.S. Route 1, which becomes 14th Street. Take 14th Street north, for 2-3 miles. Turn right on U Street. Travel 11 blocks, and turn left on 4th Street. (When U Street crosses Georgia Avenue. it becomes Florida Avenue.). After approximately 7 blocks, enter the campus gate on the left. (This gate is closed to vehicles, but there is parking on 4th Street. during non-rush hours.) Walk through the gate and up the incline. Founders Library is the second building inside the gate, on the left, before the chapel.
Metered parking is available on 4th St., adjacent to the campus; and on 6th St.
A pay parking lot is available. Travel north on Georgia Avenue. After crossing over "W" street and passing by the Texaco gas station, take a right on Bryant Street. After passing Wonder Plaza, make an immediate left into an alley - the parking attendant's cage will be visible from Bryant Street.
