A Partnership with Holt McDougal
The educational publishing companies of Holt Rinehart and Winston and McDougal Littlell recently joined to become Holt McDougal, a division of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company.
The MSRC has collaborated with Holt McDougal to highlight the Center’s holdings; and the MSRC is featured in its African American History and Literature program materials and its online offerings 2008 for high school students, grades 6-12.
This new program design “presents a rich narrative that explores the role of African Americans in the development of the United States.” Students experience the historical, literary and cultural legacies of African Americans and learn how past generations can inspire the next generation.
African American History is a publication produced by Holt McDougal. They have collaborated with Moorland-Spingarn to provide addition materials for each chapter of the publication.
