| CPNAHS Dean Receives $3+ Million Grant for School's Proposed Renovations
Dr. Pedro J. Lecca, dean, College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CPNAHS), has received a $3,519,397 grant from the National Center for Research Resources, National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, to benefit the School of Pharmacy’s proposed renovation efforts. “The grant will provide significant collaborations with public and private research facilities such as the FDA and USP,” said Lecca, the principal investigator of the grant. “It also will provide much needed space for students in the clinical area.” The proposal includes academic enhancements – additional laboratories, resource and clinical study rooms, classroom space, storage space, and mechanical and electrical rooms – as well as structural enhancements, i.e. wheel-chair accessible restrooms, a telephone/data closet |
