Clay
Gloster, Jr. is currently
a member of the faculty in
the department of Electrical
& Computer Engineering
at Howard University. He is
leading the effort to begin
a new
undergraduate program leading
to the B.S. degree in Computer
Engineering . This program
was APPROVED by the Howard
University Board of Trustees
(January 2002). A sample curriculum

here. He is also planning
to establish the Center for
Embedded Systems Research
at Howard University.
He
served on the faculty at NC
State University for more
than 7 years where he was
involved in research in the
High Performance Digital Signal
Processing Laboratory,
the
Electronic Research Laboratory,
and the Center for Advanced
Computing and Communication.
He also spent two summers
working at NASA GSFC. He received
the B.S. and M.S. degrees
in Electrical Engineering
from North
Carolina Agricultural and
Technical State University
(Greensboro, NC) and the
Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering
from North
Carolina State University
(Raleigh NC). He also
has been employed with IBM,
the Department of Defense,
and the Microelectronics Center
of North Carolina.
