Engineers Without Borders-HU Service Mission to Kenya
The Howard chapter of Engineers Without Borders will build a rainwater harvesting unit and install six biosand filters in Nandi Hills, Kenya. These efforts will increase water quantity and quality. Communication Sciences Disorders Master’s Program Among Nation’s Best
The master’s degree program in speech-language pathology offered in Howard University’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders has been named as one of the top graduate programs by U.S. News & World Report in their 2013 rankings of “America’s Best Graduate Schools.”

| Howard Board of Trustees Approves New Undergraduate and Master’s Degree Education Programs, Revises Graduate Faculty Criteria
The Howard University Board of Trustees approved two new degree programs in education, a new bachelor of science in elementary education and a joint education/psychology master's degree to assist students as they pursue careers in school psychology and counseling. In addition, the Board also approved revised criteria for graduate faculty membership.
