Fall 2011 Letter to All Students

Dear Students:

This is a friendly reminder to check your Fall 2011 validation status online via BisonWeb. If this is your first time checking your validation status, please click here for instructions.

If you are not validated-

Please review the amount of your first deferred payment detailed on BisonWeb. You are strongly encouraged to immediately submit the required payment for the amount specified.  Payment may be accepted by credit card, check or debit card online using the TouchNet Payment Gateway via BisonWeb, or through the University’s Cashiers office.  As a reminder, the second deferred payment amount is due on or before Tuesday, October 25, 2011.

Students who do not officially withdraw from the University in accordance with withdrawal policies and are financially validated for the Fall 2011 semester will incur charges.  Students whose class registrations are cancelled may not be allowed to participate or remain in their courses.  All students are encouraged to verify their registration and validation status on Bison Web prior to this date to avoid any unintended charges and to ensure they are financially validated.

All students are reminded that federal student loans (e.g. Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans) must be accepted (in full or partial amount) or declined online via BisonWeb. Students who need to complete the online Entrance Counseling or sign a Master Promissory Note must do so online at

Dependent undergraduate students whose parent(s) are interested in applying for the Federal Direct PLUS (Parent) Loan may apply online at Graduate and professional students may apply for the GradPLUS loan at as well.

The Office of Student Financial Services will consider awarded financial aid and external aid (e.g., anticipated third-party payment and scholarship authorizations) to financially validate eligible students.  However, all third-party payment authorizations and/or scholarship letters must be submitted to the Office of the Bursar (Administration Building, Suite 115) and all outstanding financial aid requirements must be fully satisfied prior to consideration.
