Washington, D.C., (April 17, 2006) – The Howard University Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center welcomes Former Ambassador to South Africa and current Assistant Secretary for African Affairs, Jendayi E. Frazer, as the keynote speaker for the annual Patricia Roberts Harris Lecture. This event will take place on Wednesday, April 19 at 3 p.m. in the School of Business Auditorium on the University’s main campus.

The former ambassador’s lecture “Transformational Diplomacy and the New U.S. African Agenda” will examine a policy, announced recently by United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, designed to re-order personnel and policies of the State Department to meet present day realities.
