United Health Foundation and Howard University to Announce New Dental Care Program for Children
WHAT: United Health Foundation and Howard University will hold a briefing to announce a grant to support a new Howard University College of Dentistry program that addresses the dental health needs of children in Washington, D.C., and Prince Georges County. The new dental program aims to expand access to quality dental care by advancing the innovative model of family-oriented dentistry and intensive dental case management.

• Howard University College of Dentistry Dean Leo Rouse, DDS
• United Health Foundation Board Member Reed Tuckson, MD (and UnitedHealth Group executive vice president and chief of medical affairs)
• Congressman Elijah E. Cummings (D-Md.)
WHEN: Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 9:30 a.m.
Tours of the dental clinic will be available following the briefing. In addition, families and dental students will be made available to the media.
