General Colin L. Powell to Serve as Keynote Speaker
Leadership Today, Tomorrow: Meeting the Needs of the Global Community
WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 10, 2008) – General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.), former U.S. Secretary of State, and an exemplary national leader will be the keynote speaker at the Ninth Annual Student Leadership Institute hosted by the Howard University College of Engineering, Architecture and Computer Sciences on Friday, November 14 at 4 p.m. in the Cramton Auditorium.
The Student Leadership Institute, sponsored by Black and Veatch Corporation, aims to foster the leadership abilities of students, providing them with the necessary foundation to becoming effective leaders, and to encourage them to strive for exceptional achievements. The event is open to the university community.
