Howard University Selects Charles B. Rangel 2009 Fellows
WASHINGTON (April 24, 2009) – The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program at Howard University announced 20 top graduates and seniors from various undergraduate institutions chosen as 2009 Charles B. Rangel Fellows.
The Fellow awardees will attend graduate schools of their choice and will pursue master’s degrees in international affairs-related fields; intern on Capitol Hill, within the State Department and overseas in American embassies.
The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs program was founded and financed by federal funds secured by Congressman Rangel who established the program with the goal of increasing diversity in the nation's representation abroad.
