Army 3-Star General to Discuss Career Opportunities

WASHINGTON (Feb. 18, 2010) - United States Army Lieutenant General Patrick J. O'Reilly, director of the Missile Defense Agency(MDA) will visit Howard University at 10 a.m. on Feb. 25 in the Armour J. Blackburn Center Forum.
General O'Reilly will provide a briefing about MDA, employment opportunities and its Career Development Program.
The Missile Defense Agency, part of the Department of Defense, is building a missile defense capability to protect the U.S. homeland, friends and allies, and forces forward deployed. It employs thousands of diverse people and offers a hands-on approach, to obtaining specific skills and experience on cutting-edge technology, in multiple locations, including the National Capitol Region, Alabama, Alaska, California and Colorado.
Seating will begin at 9:45 a.m. and the general will begin his lecture at 10:15 a.m. and end with a question and answer period.
