On behalf of President Sidney A. Ribeau, it is my distinct pleasure to share with the University community the news of the election of Professor Kurt L. Schmoke, dean of the Howard University School of Law, as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI).
