WASHINGTON (October 13, 2011) – Today, Howard University announced that internationally renowned actor and model Boris Kodjoe will serve as the 2011 Homecoming Grand Marshal. This year’s theme “Prestige: The Epitome of Distinction,” will culminate with the alumni weekend, Oct. 21-23.
“I am extremely honored and excited to be a part of this celebration at one of the most prestigious universities in the country, a school with an illustrious academic tradition and alumni who have been strong and positive leaders in our communities,” Kodjoe said.
The week of activities kick off on Friday with the Coronation Ball. As anticipated, the Homecoming favorites are returning and will live up to the high expectations.
